I had an old AC unit that I knew needed a new capacitor, and the fan motor caught on fire as a result of this. I was new to Athens at the time and had never researched HVAC companies in the area. Their work was excellent. They were professional and quick. I realized that I was in trouble though when the representative who came to diagnose my issue pulled out a laminated sheet showing the price of replacing the capacitor. I already knew how much a new capacitor cost and how easy they are to replace. The price was at least 3 times what I expected. He was ready to upsell a new unit instantly. He pulled out another laminated sheet with the prices of three different tier units also priced higher than expected. I did want a new unit so I went ahead and bought one. Once I did have time to do some research, I found that I did pay a high premium for their excellent work. If it wasn't for the high prices, they would have had 5 stars easily.

I have had a service contract with Clockwork Heating and Air for several years now and have always been impressed with the quality of their service, their pricing, and their responsiveness whenever I needed any help with my HVAC. I cannot recommend Clockwork Heating and Air enough. My AC/Heat had a problem and they were out the same day I called to check on it. Mr. Chambers came out and did a very thorough inspection and was very courteous and professional in explaining the issue, unfortunately my system was really past the expected life cycle and the problems were more than I wanted to invest in fixing on something so old so I decided on having a new one installed. Speaking to his wife, Linda (she's wonderful btw, it's so nice to have a business with people like these to deal with) everything was squared away and scheduled in no time. Today they came out and the team were the picture of professional, kind, informative, and very considerate of being safe in these times and taking very good care of my home and property. Now I have a wonderful new system and my house is warm and cozy and I have no doubt it will be nice and cool in the summer to come. I'm so glad I chose this company and would recommend them in a second to anyone who needed this type of service!I also really like the layout of their website and all the wonderful tips provided there, that really is a nice extra!

What amazing response time and very nice rates. I was an emergency situation and Bryer came on a Friday evening right away. I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive the emergency service rates were. He even took the time to explain the exact problem and offered a range of solutions.
